Webb Wins in Canada
Three-time AMA 450 champion, Cooper Webb has showed amazing speed as he takes the red plate into the second round of the championship in England in October. While Webb was leading the final 450 race, it was red flagged due to a crash to Greg Aranda, but also a storm that caused chaos in the stadium. That race result was taken off the series points.
Cooper Webb: It was sick. The first one I missed the intensity and it cost me, but overall, second one was good and the third one it was pretty gnarly, but I felt pretty good.
The third and final 450 moto and Webb with the holeshot and lead over the Stark machines, but Wilson moved into third place, then second and Hill back in 12th place, with Anderson around seventh place. Top ten was Webb, Wilson, Craig, Friese, Zaragoza, Anderson, Harrison, Politelli, Hill and Moranz.
Hill moving through the field and into fifth place, but Webb miles ahead and showing his skills to the world. Anderson fourth and Hill fifth in a nice battle, as the Starks finally struggling a little in sixth and seventh places.
Hill and Anderson bumping bars and Anderson allowed Hill to make a pass, and Webb straights ahead of Wilson and Craig, with Hill in fourth and closing up on those two. Red flag as Greg Aranda crashed, but also a huge storm hit the stadium and dust, wind and trackside banners flying through the air.
