Jeffrey Herlings has shown he is on it in Argentina, clocking the quickest time in the first MXGP session. The Dutchman is just ahead of HRC team-mate, Tom VIalle and Lucas Coenen. While Vialles time was close to Herlings, Coenen was 1.6 seconds off "The Bullet".

Defending MXGP champion, Romain Febvre was seventh quickest, nearly two seconds slower than Herlings, with three time winner in Argentina, Tim Gajser also around two seconds slower than Herlings.
