Coenen Out Of Loket
Red Bull KTM factory rider, Lucas Coenen is out of the Czech GP. The current red plate man in the MXGP class will not line up this afternoon and it seems sure now that, five time world motocross champion, Jeffrey Herlings of the HRC factory team, will take a massive lead in Lommel next weekend.
In high drama, Coenen crashed last weekend at the British GP and scored zero points and now another zero points weekend is terrible news for the talented teenager.
KTM: Lucas Coenen sidelined for the remainder of the MXGP of Czech Republic. After sustaining a compressed sciatic nerve in his left leg, he will sit out Sunday’s races at Loket.
It has been a terrible few weeks for Coenen, having crashed out of the AMA round of the 2026 series, when he crashed hard in the Southwick round, after scoring the quickest time in qualification.
Hopefully Coenen can line-up in his home GP next weekend, otherwise the championship will be over, as Herlings has every chance of stacking up more points around one of his favourite tracks.
