Australian SX - Rider Support
The Boost Mobile AUSX Supercross Championship presented by Monster Energy has unveiled a new initiative to reduce costs and generate income for series competitors.
The optional ‘Rider Support Programme’ is designed to reduce costs by providing end-to-end logistics support, reduced Entry Fees and new earning opportunities for riders competing throughout the 2026 season.
As the championship expands across Australia and New Zealand, AUSX has developed the program to remove many of the traditional barriers associated with competing at a national and international level.
At the centre of the initiative is an AUSX-managed freight programme, with bikes and approved equipment transported between all five championship rounds, to all riders and teams to simplify logistics and allow competitors to focus more on racing.
Included in the program, is an all-new financial reward system with up to $100,000 in incentive payments available to riders throughout the season, who actively create content and drive digital engagement.
The Rider Support Program includes:
•Discounted Entry Fees
• Four series passes per rider entry
• AUSX-managed freight programme across all championship rounds
• Secure transport crates supplied by AUSX
• Covered pit infrastructure at long-haul events
• Shared workshop, bike wash and fuel zone facilities
• Access to discounted accommodation rates
• Sponsorship and social media support resources
• Access to the all-new content reward program
AUSX has also committed to providing education sessions and support for series riders to assist them with their personal branding, social media growth and sponsorship opportunities.
AUSX CEO Adam Bailey said the combined programme is the most significant athlete support initiative introduced in AUSX’s history.
“The 2026 championship is the biggest geographical footprint we have ever undertaken and we recognised early that logistics and travel would become one of the biggest challenges for riders and teams.” Bailey said.
“This program is designed to simplify the logistics and reduce the investment required to commit to the series, whilst creating additional income opportunities and rewarding riders that are proactive in promoting themselves and the sport.”
“We are fully committed to continuing the positive growth trajectory of the series and to elevate the rider’s profiles and the sport to mainstream audiences. To do that, we understand we need to be proactive in providing support not only financially and logistically, but commercially to help the sport as a whole take steps forward.”
“In the off season, we spoke to a number of riders and teams, including privateers like Hayden Mellross and Zane Macintosh to understand exactly where their costs were to compete in the AUSX series in 2025.”
We’re confident, that the program we’re proposing will see costs decrease by over $1,000 per round, per rider, whilst giving them more time to work, train and prepare for each event.”
Running a kind of ‘fly away’ system like this, also allows us as a sport, to be more nimble and open the door for new locations and venues in the future.”
The 2026 Boost Mobile AUSX Supercross season will be made up of five rounds, visiting Queensland, New Zealand, Victoria, Western Australia and New South Wales across five world-class stadium events. Four of these rounds will be part of the Australian Supercross Championship (the national title sanctioned by Motorcycling Australia) and one of these rounds will be sanctioned by Motorcycling Queensland due to the unfortunate clash of the Australian Junior Nationals and MXoN events.
Further information regarding championship classes, race formats and program initiatives will be released in the coming weeks. Riders and teams are encouraged to download the Rider Support Program brochure and register their interest via ausxsupercross.com.au/competitors
