Antonio Cairoli needs no introduction. Nine-time World Motocross Champion, one of the winningest riders in MXGP history, and a living legend in Italy. In three of the past five years of AMA Pro Motocross, he's graced us with his presence on the circuit at some select rounds, doing so this year with Factory Ducati to do some testing.

At 40 years old, he scored an impressive sixth place finish in the first moto this past weekend at Spring Creek. This would bring about the end of his originally planned three race journey this season, though one more might still be on the cards. We caught up with Cairoli at the end of the day though to pick his brain on what AMA Pro Motocross does right, and what they might still be able to learn from his familiar MXGP racing and lifestyle.
