The Off-Season - Dates
While we run down to the final four rounds of the MXGP championship and the AMA Nationals is down to two rounds, we can start to look a little into the off-season and what an off-season it will be again.
Obviously, Monster Energy Motocross of Nations is the big hit, running on October 4 at the famous Ernee circuit in France. The SMX playoffs will run in September as will the final three rounds of the MXGP and MX2 championships, but its October when the off-season really begins.
The same weekend of the MXoN in France, is the opening round of the Australian supercross championship, although surely that will change, as a handful of the leading Aussies want to be racing for their country in France.
WSX hits the shores of England on October 10, the same weekend is Jeffrey Herlings and many other competing in the revitalized, Fastcross in Italy. From there, nearly every weekend is full until December, with races in Australia, France, Argentina, South Africa, and New Zealand.
With racing all the way through to December and then of course, the 2027 AMA supercross championship will commence, along with the Arenacross series in the UK, before the MXGP championship starts up in March, maybe in Spain.
