Mike Pelletier from the AMA has announced that Julien Beaumer will replace injured Chance Hymas for Team USA at the Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations, set for France next weekend.

Beaumer and the Red Bull KTM team stepped up to offer Beaumer to go and race in the 450cc spot Hymas was going to race. Cooper Webb (450), Levi Kitchen (250), and Beaumer (450) will now complete the Team USA roster at the MXoN at the famous Ernee circuit next weekend.

Mike Pelletier: It’s been a heck of a day to be honest with you from free practice yesterday, I want to give a shout out to Chance, it was a hard conversation but the right one to make, he’s unfortunately going to miss MXoN. It’s been a busy 24 hours going through this paddock but we have made a decision already this morning because are leaving Tuesday, we had to do this quickly and Julien Beaumer will take that spot on the 450 so we will have him, Levi Kitchen and Cooper Webb. Julien has always wanted to go, he is super passionate about it and sometimes that gives you an extra gear with that passion. The hard oart is we are leaving Tuesday and it’s a tall to ask this morning and say ‘hey, what are you doing next weekend? The KTM group has been incredible to try and put this together with a bike situation and testing and that. Julien is really excited, I just left the KTM truck to come here to be honest.
