Stuttgart SX - Who Wins
As every year, the question of the favourites will arise at the ADAC Supercross Stuttgart on Friday and Saturday, 6 and 7 November 2026. In the two main classes SX1 and SX2, there should be another international match between France and the USA.
In the top SX1 category, the overall winners of the last four years, the Frenchmen Cedric Soubeyras and Gregory Aranda, are missing from the line-up due to a scheduling clash or injury. Since the two Supercross nations France and the USA, which have dominated Germany for many years, have a large line-up of top riders, the way is clear for new heroes.
One of the hottest contenders for this year's title of "King of Stuttgart" is Maxime Desprey, also from France. The 33-year-old veteran comes with the recommendation, among other things, of his Stuttgart victory of 2023 in the "small" SX2 class as well as his ADAC SX Cup victory at the time in the 2023/2024 off-season. As a result, there are some really good corners and I like that."
Also on the list should be the other Frenchmen Jordi Tixier, Calvin Fonvieille and Lucas Imbert. Although the former motocross world champion Jordi Tixier does not yet have much to show for it in Stuttgart, he has already celebrated two king's titles in Dortmund and also landed on a podium finish several times in the Cup.
It will be interesting to see how the rising star Calvin Fonvieille does with the "Big Boys". The last two winters he won the ADAC SX Cup in SX2. Lucas Imbert, the "Prince of Stuttgart" in 2022, on the other hand, has already passed his baptism of fire in SX1 and also showed in the large class that he is a seasoned Supercrosser.
The second big Supercross nation in German halls is the USA. Since 2005, the kings of Stuttgart have come from either France or the United States. On paper, Mitchell Harrison has to be given the greatest chances of their representatives this year. He made his German debut in Stuttgart in 2024 and finished fourth in the king's classification in 2024 and fifth in 2025. In the 2026 U.S. Supercross Championship, he finished 18th overall, making him the highest-ranked rider in this year's U.S. delegation. It will be interesting to see the Stuttgart and Germany comeback of Ryan Breece, who left Stuttgart's Schleyer-Halle as king in 2019.
The US boys Zack Williams and Jeremy Hand can also be trusted with a lot, especially since they also scored strongly in the highly competitive US Supercross Championship in 2026. Henry Miller could also be a surprise man from the USA. He finished the "East Coast" 250cc Supercross Championship that year in an excellent seventh place.
As every year, the question of the favourites will arise at the ADAC Supercross Stuttgart on Friday and Saturday, 6 and 7 November 2026. In the two main classes SX1 and SX2, there should be another international match between France and the USA.
With Nico Koch from Braunschweig, Mark Scheu from Grabenstetten and Stefan Ekerold from Saarland, Germany has three representatives in the top class this year. Thanks to many international Supercross races, including in the USA, Nico Koch should have the best chance of qualifying for the final races. Stuttgart will be his first public appearance in the KTM Sarholz Racing Team after his team change at the end of the outdoor season.

In the SX2 class, the Frenchman Jules Pietre wants to defend his title "Prince of Stuttgart". In addition to him, his compatriots Liam Bruneau and Mathys Boisrame must also be on the radar, as they finished third and fourth overall in Stuttgart in 2025.
The year before, Preston Boespflug secured the title of prince. After a year's break, the young American will be back in Stuttgart with great ambitions.

And then there is the German hopeful Noah Ludwig from Aschersleben. The 22-year-old from the KTM Sarholz Racing Team celebrated a terrific debut in Supercross last year in Stuttgart by racing onto the podium on the first evening as third in the SX2 final. On Saturday, he finished sixth and fifth in the prince's ranking, the best German.
This year, Ludwig wants to build on his successes: "My goal is definitely to finish on the podium again - also in the overall classification." The other German starters in the "small" class are Paul Bloy (Biberach), Elias Stapel (Mittelstadt), Oskar Luis Romberg (Hilbeck), Malik Schoch (Wildberg) and Ben Gosepath (Grevenbroich).
