The 2026-2027 AMA Partzilla National Arenacross Championship roared to life October 16-17 inside F&M Bank Arena in Clarksville, Tennessee, as some of the sport’s top professional riders went head-to-head for the opening two rounds of the championship.

When the dust settled on the opening weekend, two names stood above the rest: Izaih Clark and Kyle Peters. Clark delivered a statement performance aboard his Honda, sweeping both Arenacross 250 Main Events and capturing Saturday night’s premier Arenacross victory.

Meanwhile, five-time AMA Arenacross Champion Kyle Peters demonstrated why he remains one of the most formidable competitors in indoor racing, claiming Friday night’s Arenacross Main Event victory and finishing runner-up in both 250 contests.

Between them, Clark and Peters captured all four professional Main Event victories over the two-night weekend. Izaih Clark wasted no time establishing himself as a championship contender, taking the opening Arenacross 250 victory of the season aboard his Honda.

Clark, representing TiLube and Storm Lake Honda, secured the win ahead of HEP Motorsports/Twisted Tea Suzuki’s Kyle Peters, who finished second.

Gavin Towers put his Yamaha on the podium in third, while 17-year-old Altus Motorsports Blu Cru Yamaha rider Kane Bollasina delivered an impressive fourth-place finish. Defending champion Luke Neese rounded out the top five aboard his Honda. Evan Ferry, one of the highly anticipated competitors entering the weekend, finished sixth.

Friday night’s premier Arenacross Main Event belonged to Kyle Peters. The experienced Suzuki rider kicked off his championship campaign with a victory over a competitive field of championship contenders. Joshua Cartwright delivered a strong performance aboard his Kawasaki to claim second, while 2025 champion Luke Neese secured the final podium position in third.

Clark continued his strong opening night with fourth, while young Yamaha prospect Kane Bollasina completed the top five. The results established Peters as an immediate threat for another Arenacross championship while showing that Clark would be a serious challenger throughout the season.

If Friday’s victory wasn’t enough to get everyone’s attention, Izaih Clark made his intentions unmistakable Saturday night. Clark returned to the top step of the Arenacross 250 podium, completing a perfect two-for-two opening weekend in the class. Kyle Peters once again secured second place, giving the veteran Suzuki rider consecutive runner-up finishes in the 250 division.

Kane Bollasina continued his impressive start to the season, improving from fourth on Friday to third Saturday, while Luke Neese finished fourth and Gavin Towers completed the top five. With consecutive victories, Clark established himself as the rider to beat in the Arenacross 250 championship.

After watching Kyle Peters take Friday night’s premier class victory, Izaih Clark responded in commanding fashion Saturday. The Honda rider captured his third Main Event victory of the weekend, taking the win ahead of Peters, who finished second.

Joshua Cartwright continued his consistent opening weekend with another podium finish in third, giving the Kawasaki rider back-to-back podiums in the premier class. Defending champion Luke Neese finished fourth, while Gavin Towers improved from Friday’s tenth-place result to claim fifth Saturday. Clark’s Saturday performance completed a remarkable opening weekend and firmly established him among the early championship favorites.

With two rounds completed, the championship picture is already beginning to take shape. Kyle Peters’ victory and runner-up finish in the premier Arenacross class give the Suzuki veteran the early championship advantage. Izaih Clark remains firmly in contention following his Saturday night victory, while Joshua Cartwright’s pair of podium finishes have established him as another serious championship threat.

Defending champion Luke Neese opened his title defense with third- and fourth-place finishes, positioning himself within striking distance as the series moves forward. In Arenacross 250 competition, Clark’s undefeated opening weekend has made him the early favorite, although Peters remains close behind after finishing second both nights. Young standout Kane Bollasina also emerged as one of the weekend’s most impressive performers, recording consistent top-five results across both professional divisions.
