Stark Future has confirmed that the VARG SM Sköll, a limited edition of 500 road-legal electric supermotos, was fully allocated in under 48 hours.

Orders opened worldwide at 11:00 CET on Wednesday 16 September. By Friday 18 September, every Sköll had been spoken for, with no second production run.

Stark withheld the “Gone in 48hrs” press release until today, following the September 20 premiere of the film “VARG SM Sköll - Terramar We broke Another record”. The release documents the VARG SM Sköll claiming the outright lap record at the Autòdrom de Sitges-Terramar, previously held by Carlos Sainz.

The record was set on 10 September, six days before the edition went on sale, and remained confidential until the film went live. Every one of the 500 units was accounted for without knowing that the same motorcycle had just beaten a lap record set by a two-time World Rally Champion in a Redbull Audi R8 - GT3 car and unbeaten for fourteen years.

It is the second capped Stark edition to close in full this year, after the Factory Editions, 200 VARG MX, and 300 VARG EX. Both were capped, both were individually numbered, and both closed ahead of schedule.

The Sköll was designed from the beginning as a limited offering; the VARG SM is built to endure."

Sköll took the VARG SM in the opposite direction to most special editions. Where the convention is to add, this one removes: take the colour out, and let the engineering carry the motorcycle on its own.

Every eligible component is finished in black by the process that suits the material: powder coating, anodising, or deep-black treatment. Nothing was simply painted. Each part was worked individually so the whole motorcycle arrives in the same black.

The Sköll is closed*. The standard VARG SM remains available to order.
