Check out what a bunch of riders thought of their Saturday night at the Salt Lake City supercross. Of course, Ken Roczen came out smelling like roses and others had to fill in behind him.

Ken Roczen: “I was an emotional wreck today. It was not an easy task by any means. I’ve been exhausted, physically and mentally, over these past few weeks, but I’ve dreamed of this since I was a little kid. This is just a testament of you never give up. Anybody, at any age, whenever you’re competing and you feel anxiety, you feel strange emotions that rob your energy, you’re not alone. I feel those too, but I don’t give up. I work on it daily and [the championship] is how it pays off. You can do it too.”

Hunter Lawrence: Just asking a little too much of the front end coming into the corners but, oh well, congrats to Kenny, well earned. He was the better man tonight in the main so congratulations to him and the team, it was fun battling with him and yeah, get ready for outdoors. Not too many years ago I wished of leaving the races healthy, then I dreamed of how good it would be to be on the podium each weekend, that dream then shifted to wanting and believing I could be a winner… fast forward to now being disappointed in battling for the 450 Supercross championship.. so many great moments, ups and downs. I wasn’t scared to fail and I always gave it my all. I learnt so much and am grateful for the beginning of 2026. Thankyou to all my team who has supported me, I love working with you guys and congrats to Kenny and his team.”

Chase Sexton: “I’ve known Kenny [Roczen] a long time. He was like a big brother to me growing up. It’s obviously a bit different now that we race each other, but I’m really proud of him. Hunter [Lawrence] was [also] great all year. Great competitors. I was watching their race from the back and didn’t know what to do, then stuff happened, I started riding better and got to the front. It means a lot for me, personally, to get a win. It’s been a really tough year, but this hopefully is a good omen for outdoors.”

Justin Cooper: “I didn’t get off the gate great. I tried second gear and dropped the front. I need a little more gas, but it’s tough at elevation because we’re fighting between first or second gear. That didn’t pay off but I was able to work my way through. I had to trust my pace and wait for guys to wear down a little bit. Everything tightened up at the end, and it was a tough last couple minutes, but we got close [to the win] there.”

Jorge Prado: “It has been a pretty cool Supercross season for me! I’m very happy to have made it to the end, and then obviously starting A1 with a podium, my expectations were high all year long, but I knew it was a learning curve. We had some good and bad moments, but at the end of the day, we got here to the last round and put ourselves back on the box with a great ride. So, I am very proud of myself and the work I put in every day, but also the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing team. They have been putting a lot of work in as well at the test track, improving the bike with me. We learned so much this year – to be honest, I thought the change coming from MXGP to Supercross was going to be a little bit easier, but Supercross is a whole different world.”

Cooper Webb: “I think he (Prado) wasn’t happy with my last lap attempt, but he’s never done anything wrong, so, it’s all good. I think we all know and we speak for everyone and we got to be careful around him. So, as I told him, I said, ‘hey, man, I know that we’ve had some run-ins and I understand, you know, your frustration, but you got to understand my frustration and the other 21 guys, you’re just a fast, Vince Friese so, with that being said, he was fast enough tonight to get on the box and so, tip the cap.

Cole Davies: “That was a great race. I didn’t get off to a great start, but I made it happen. The pressure is off [with the championship] so I could come out here and ride full out. It was fun racing like that, going back and forth, cat and mouse. I enjoyed it.”

Levi Kitchen: “I got another okay start, but I made moves early. I’m proud of that. I was really aggressive. I could see the leaders and felt like I could get up there, then both of my teammates went down. I had to nearly stop to avoid them and had to make it all back up. It was chaos, but I’m just so stoked to be up here battling with these guys.”

Max Anstie: “It’s been a tough year. I had my appendix taken out and a lot of things in between the races, but the whole team has been amazing sticking behind me. Awesome season. Congrats to my two teammates [on their championships]. It was awesome to be a part of that this year. Hopefully we can be up here again next year and in the title hunt.”

Haiden Deegan: “What an amazing 250 career. I’ve got to give it up to Cole. That was a dog fight. We were giving the fans the best show possible. We were hitting each other, it was awesome. Even though I came out in fourth, that was one of the funnest races I’ve had. It’s a little sad we’re hanging it up, but ready to move on to the 450 Class.”

Ryder DiFrancesco: Salt Lake was a bit of a struggle all day just didn't have the raw speed that I really wanted – it came a little tougher for me this weekend. The Heat Race didn't go well, and then of course, we were off to the LCQ, which wasn't ideal. The Main Event was a bit of a turnaround, after I rode well in that one and now we'll get ready for outdoors."

Malcolm Stewart: "The fans are always awesome in Salt Lake! Usually, I ride pretty well at this track, but this year I kind of struggled a little bit. But at the end of the day, every time I come through for opening ceremonies and hear those fans, it brings back some awesome memories. Tonight may not have gone exactly as we'd planned, but that's racing, and I'm happy to be leaving Supercross healthy with attention now shifting to Pro Motocross."

Jordon Smith: "I had a great day, felt really good throughout practice and had a good heat race until I got together with another rider. Luckily, I came back and made it into the main. I was riding good in the main event and, unfortunately, had a really hard crash in the whoops. We will go home, rest up and prepare for the Pro Motocross season."

Gage Linville: "I struggled today – I did not quite have a flow until it was too late. We will learn from it and come out better next time. Now it's time to shift focus to Pro Motocross!"
