Infront Moto Racing is proud to announce the release of the latest and last monthly edition of MXGP Magazine, a special issue dedicated to celebrating the remarkable legacy of Giuseppe Luongo, following the announcement of his retirement after more than three decades shaping the FIM Motocross World Championship.
This edition’s Cover Story pays tribute to Giuseppe Luongo, the visionary promoter whose leadership transformed the championship into the global platform it is today. From the early days of Action Group to Youthstream and later Infront Moto Racing, Luongo played a pivotal role in modernising and expanding the sport worldwide. The feature retraces his journey, highlighting the key milestones, innovations, and achievements that defined an era and helped elevate motocross into a truly international championship followed by fans across continents.
A Special Feature takes a look ahead to the upcoming season with a feature dedicated to the 2026 Officially Approved Teams (OAT) list. The article provides an overview of the teams that will line up on the MXGP and MX2 grids, showcasing the incredible line-up, diversity and competitiveness of the championship as it prepares for another exciting year of world-class racing.
In the Hall of Fame, the spotlight turns to one of the most iconic riders of Giuseppe Luongo’s era: Antonio Cairoli. With multiple world titles and countless unforgettable performances, Cairoli became one of the defining figures of modern motocross. This feature reflects on his extraordinary career and the impact he had during one of the most competitive and transformative periods in the sport’s history.
The Bike section revisits a historic machine, celebrating the championship-winning Kawasaki of the 2025 season, a landmark victory that marked a significant moment for the manufacturer and added another chapter to MXGP’s rich technical heritage.
Rounding out this special edition, the Blog features a unique perspective from motocross legend Harry Everts, who reflects on the evolution of the sport throughout his riding time and then after.
