Kay De Wolf: I'm convinced that if I do my best, I can go a long way. After the twelfth race in England, I was 70 points behind. That was partly due to bad luck and injuries. From then on, we said we had nothing left to lose and went all out on the attack. The fact that we're still in contention for the world title means we've done well.
If I can score some extra points on Saturday, it'll be even more exciting on Sunday. The gap to the leader is actually very small. It's certainly been a period of a lot of traveling these past few weeks. I don't find it very tiring; I've slept reasonably well during the flights. The conditions here in Darwin are good.
The track is in good condition and it's warm, which suits me. No, I have little to lose and I'm especially eager to ride. It could be an even better comeback, something that hasn't happened in recent years. I'm going to give it my all, and we'll see if that's enough for the world title. Physically, I'm very strong and I feel good. I don't really feel like we're at the end of the season. I enjoy being on the bike. If I have to fight for the MX2 world title for another year, it wouldn't be a punishment at all. Just for fun; I enjoy being on the bike.
