Hunter Lawrence: I pulled in and said this session won't be faster than the first one, but I pulled a lap out and I didn't think it was faster, but it was.
Riders not matching the first 450 qualification early, as Deegan does a 2.03.363 to be top early in the second qualification for 450s. Jett Lawrence did a 2.04. 114 and Lucas Coenen did a 2.04.876, then Prado did a 2.04.698.
Coenen then went second quickest with a 2.03.366, but nobody doing the same times as the best from Jett Lawrence in the first qualification, which was 2.02.489. Coenen quicker than the 2023 and 2024 MXGP champion, Prado, who was on 2.04.286 and fifth fastest.
Hunter Lawrence the first to get into the 2.01.727 zone and he went to the top of the qualification for 450s, nearly a second quicker than his little brother. Top four with time running out of the qualification, with Hunter on 2.01.727, Jett 2.02.489, Deegan 202.851 and Coenen fourth, but then suddenly second quickest with a 2.02.202, brilliant for his first ever ride at this track.
