The experienced American racer will represent Venum Bud Racing Kawasaki in the SX1 class, bringing a proven supercross and motocross pedigree to the global World Supercross paddock. For Harrison, the Championship is an opportunity to take his racing story to new audiences, new cities and new tracks all while lining up against a world-class field under the lights.
For fans, it is a compelling combination. Harrison is a rider who has travelled a long road through professional motocross, supercross and international competition. Now, with a Kawasaki beneath him and an SX1 gate drop ahead, he is set to write the next chapter in the FIM World Supercross Championship.
A Racer Built Through Experience
Born in Lansing, Michigan, Harrison turned professional in 2016 and has been immersed in top-level racing ever since. He made his professional debut on the big stage at Anaheim 1 and quickly began building the experience required to compete in one of motorcycle racing’s most demanding disciplines.
Harrison’s years of competing in this environment have shaped him into a seasoned racer who understands the intensity of race night.
His career has also taken him well beyond the United States. He has raced in the FIM Motocross World Championship’s MX2 category, gaining valuable international experience against riders from across the globe. That background will hold him in good stead in World Supercross, where the championship brings together riders, teams and supporters from multiple continents in a truly international arena.
From 250 Success to SX1 Opportunity
Harrison earned strong results during his time in the 250 class, including multiple top-five finishes. Those performances highlighted the pace, fitness and consistency that have defined much of his career.
The move into the premier 450 category has presented a fresh challenge. The SX1 class is home to some of the most accomplished riders in supercross, where every lap demands aggression, control and confidence. It is a category in which experience can make the difference, particularly when tracks develop, ruts appear and the intensity rises late in the night.
For Harrison, the opportunity to race SX1 in the FIM World Supercross Championship is a chance to show that experience.
An Opportunity for Venum Bud Racing Kawasaki
Harrison gives Venum Bud Racing Kawasaki an experienced addition to its SX1 programme. Having previously competed in World Supercross, the team enters 2026 with valuable knowledge of the championship and a rider capable of adapting quickly to its unique calendar.
The team will be looking to use Harrison’s experience while also building on the experience gained from previous World Supercross campaigns. The team enters the new season with greater familiarity of the championship, while Harrison’s adaptability should prove valuable as World Supercross visits both returning venues and new destinations, including Calgary, Canada on 8th August.
Like the team he is racing for, his story is of resilience, Harrison’s career has been defined by persistence and adaptability. After progressing through the 250 ranks, tackling the premier 450 class and gaining international experience, he now arrives in World Supercross ready for his next challenge.
