FLY and MXoN 2026
The 79th edition of the Motocross of Nations blasted off last weekend in France and FLY Racing was all over it. With Captain America, Cooper Webb, leading the way for Team USA and the winning team of Belgium highlighted by the Coenen twins, it was a banner year for FLY Racing. Alex Larwood made his debut for the Australians as they valiantly tried to defend their back-to-back wins in 2024 and 2025. All in all, it was the most successful MXON ever for the brand.

Cooper Webb’s custom kit screamed America, his red, white, and blue look in perfect unison with his brand new, all-white Husqvarna. His 4th and possibly last appearance for Lady Liberty was one of his most memorable. He fought Europe’s best all weekend long and anchored the American team as they came home 5th overall. Webb now turns his focus to the Fastcross event in Italy this coming weekend as his EU tour continues.

As for the winners, the Coenen’s delivered Belgium their first MXON crown since 2004. Their custom Belgium colors were as loud as the 105,000 fans on hand, a new record for the Ernee event. Lucas Coenen made his first appearance in months as his leg injury sidelined him for the second half of the MXGP Championship. Twin brother Sacha Coenen was rock solid in his MX2 motos, fighting through the 450’s to give Belgium enough to get to the top of the box. The brothers will now switch gears and begin preparation for the Paris SX in November and then the SMX World Championship full time in 2027.
