Spaniard, Guillem Farres racing on his factory Triumph and with a huge British crowd screaming him on, has gone 1-1 at the famous Foxhill circuit and not only taken the red plate from Sasha Coenen, but leaves the UK with a handy points lead heading to Loket in the Czech Republic next weekend. Second overall was defending MX2 champion, Simon Langenfelder on the factory KTM machine, with 2-2 and third was the other Triumph factory rider, Camden McLellan, who scored 4-3 results.

Guillem Farres: Got another good start, was second and Simon made a mistake and I took advantage. Its nice to win here for the team and I know my family are watching and I love them a lot and I couldn't do this without them. It was a nice fight with Simon, and we went back and forth and I am happy how its going and I hope we keep it that way.

Simon Langenfelder: What a crash it was, a stupid one, but I kept him on my toes and the speed was good. The track was sketchy and its nice to take a trophy home from England. Its nearly as big as me.

Camden McLellan: It has been a good weekend and good to get back on the box. My started were not good today, and we had a nice push with Liam at the end. Big respect for Sasha, he really fought hard with what he had.

Championship points are now Guillem Farres 563 points, Sacha Coenen 552pts, Simon Längenfelder 521pts, Camden Mc Lellan 501pts, Liam Everts 477pts. So an 11 point lead now for Farres in the title race.

MX2 Moto Two

Langenfelder with the lead in the second MX2 moto, with Coenen second, then Farres, Everts, Grau, McLellan, Reisulis, Walvoort, Askew, Karssemakers. Farres into second and all over Langenfelder for the lead.

Langenfelder went down and Farres into the lead and it was three second lead. Coenen a small mistake, but still in third, then came Everts, McLellan, Janis Reisulis, Karssemakers, Karlis Reisulis, Walvoort and Lata now in 10th. Askew 11th.

Lap two and the lead by Farres was 5.2 seconds over Langenfelder, with Coenen 8.3 back, then Everts nine seconds back. Janis Reisulis a crash and dropped from sixth to ninth, while his brother moved into sixth place.

Everts slipped over and dropped to fifth, handing McLellan his position and possibly a podium place. Lap six it was Farres with less than a second over Langenfelder, then Coenen, McLellan, Everts, Karlis Reisulis, Walvoort, Karssemakers, Janis Reisulis, and Lata.

Langenfelder all over the back wheel of Farres and Coenen 12 seconds back in third. Langenfelder took the lead, but then Farres passed him straight back. A little wild and dangerous for the Spaniard to be battling like this with the German. Great racing by both men.

Langenfelder again into the lead and again, Farres repassed to regain the lead. Torrid battle and the large English crowd are loving it. Farres not allowing the defending world champion to get one over on him. McLellan into third and Coenen now dropped back to fourth place and again, losing more points on Farres.

Everts moved past Coenen, who dropped to fifth place. Coenen really struggling and fighting through horrible pain I would imagine. He did have a big lead over Janis Reisulis, but he has lost a lot of points this weekend.

Farres got away from Langenfelder, with the German more than five seconds back, while McLellan in third was 18 seconds off the pace. Askew dropped back after a mistake and was 18th on lap 11. Farres wins the moto and the GP and now holds a nice points lead at the top of the MX2 championship points.
