Second overall was another Triumph factory rider with Camden McLellan going 3-2 and third was Mathis Valin with 2-3.

Guillem Farres: It was a difficult track to pass, a decent start and I was just waiting for Janis to make a mistake. Happy with a 1-1, but I was not happy with yesterdays mistake, but we want to improve that for Germany. It was a good feeling and yesterday I was a bit excited and wanted to cut points and people talking on podcasts and they don't think we are in the championship, but we both did a good statement today. Everyone is working day and night.

Camden McLellan: Back indeed. I feel much better and my shouldn't isn't hindering me anymore. Feels good to be back and I took a hit and lost some confidence. I need to get better starts.

Mathis Valin: I was feeling good and its good to be on the box again. I didn't ride for some weeks and happy to be on the podium. Thanks to the French crowd and my family.

Championship points, Farres made big progress on Simon Langenfelder and Sasha Coenen. The points are now Simon Längenfelder 281pts, Sacha Coenen 273pts, Guillem Farres 261pts, Liam Everts 245pts and Camden Mc Lellan 233pts.

MX2 Moto Two

Janis Reisulis led the second MX2 moto from Valin, Everts, McLellan, Langenfelder, Farres, Karlis Reisulis, Coenen, Lata and Doensen in 10th. McLellan into second place as he passed both Valin and Everts. Valin dropped to fourth as Farres moved into third place and Langenfelder and Coenen together in sixth and seventh.

Lap two and Reisulis with a one second lead over Farres, who had passed McLellan, and the Spaniard closing up on the leader. Three EMX riders, Garcia, Askew and Cannon 12th, 13th and 14th and all showing some good speed.

Reisulis with 1.4 over Farres with McLellan on the back wheel of his team-mate and Valin in fourth also close to the two Triumph riders. Lap nine and Reisulis showing amazing speed as he was 2.1 ahead of Farres, with McLellan still on his team-mate, then Valin, Everts, Langenfelder, Coenen, Lata, Grau and Karlis Reisulis 10th.

Not a lot happening as its was still Reisulis, Farres, McLellan, Valin, Everts, Langenfelder, Coenen, Lata, Grau and Karlis Reisulis on lap 11. The gap between the leader and second placed Farres was 1.5 seconds as the Spaniard started making a charge. McLellan also closing on the leader.

A brilliant battle commencing as both Triumph riders were onto the Monster Energy Yamaha leader and with two minutes and two laps remaining, no doubt Farres is looking for a perfect day. The two Triumph men making life difficult for each other as Reisulis is just waiting for their attack.

Farres into the lead and the perfect day for the Spaniard. Reisulis making another tough day as he tries to fight off McLellan and Valin. The rookie doing well, but these long motos are tough when so young. McLellan and Valin both passed the Latvian as he dropped to fourth place. Langenfelder crashed and Coenen into sixth place. Farres wins the moto from McLellan and Valin.
