Red Bull KTM factory rider, Lucas Coenen won't hand the MXGP world championship to Romain Febvre this weekend without a fight. The Belgian teenager took pole for this afternoons MXGP qualifier after a tense battle for the top spot with red plate man and championship favourite, Romain Febvre, who was second quickest most of the session, but also made some big errors trying to get the top spot.

Eventually it was another Red Bull KTM rider, Jeffrey Herlings who grapped second in the times, with Febvre third. Next came Calvin Vlaanderen, and Tim Gajser. JP/KTM image
