Coenen Take Pole - SA
A very exciting time practice, with a handful of riders putting in really quick times, but it was the sensational teenager, Lucas Coenen who walked away with pole for this afternoons MXGP qualification race. Also quick were Tim Gajser, Romain Febvre and Jeffrey Herlings, all within a second of the Belgian.
Lucas Coenen: For the first lap going out was good, but I made a mistake and I needed to check some lines and get a heater back. The guys all did some quick laps. The track is amazing and if you find your flow, you are pretty fast. Feeling is good, its a fast track, you need to respect it. With the altitude its a bit hard, but I knew I could do a good lap. Time for the motos now.
