Camden McLellan Wins Arnhem
Camden McLellan has won the MXGP of The Netherlands with a very impressive 1-2 performance. The South African backed up his GP victory in the sand in Belgium a few weeks ago and continues to keep himself in the world championship picture. Second overall was Liam Everts with 4-1 and third Guillem Farres with 3-3 results and now 25 points ahead of Coenen in the championship points.

Camden McLellan: Another good race, really fun. I am enjoying my time on the bike and doing this job. I couldn’t get around Liam, nice to see him win, he is a nice guy, but I get him next time.
MX2 Moto Two
Everts led the second MX2 moto, from Langenfelder, Farres, Coenen, Korsbeck, Colmer, Janis Reisulis, Lata, McLellan, Karlis Reisulis, and Karssemakers. Farres and Coenen passed Langenfelder, with Korsbeck dropping to 11th.
Lap four it was Everts with a four second lead over Farres, with Coenen right behind the Spaniard, then came Langenfelder, McLellan, Janis Reisulis, Lata, Karlis Reisulis, Karssemakers and Smulders.
Lap six and Coenen passed Farres, but the Spanish rider came back and repassed the Belgian. Coenen tried to pass Farres again and nearly crashed and they continued to fight each other. Coenen again tries to pass, and this time takes second place. While this all happened, McLellan was all over those two.
Coenen again sliding all over the place, but still second. Lap seven the top ten was Everts, Coenen, Farres, McLellan, Janis Reisulis, Lata, Langenfelder, Karlis Reisulis, Karssemakers and Smulders.
McLellan into third and he will go after Coenen. Farres losing points to Coenen again and the championship remains very much open. Coenen slightly closing the gap to Everts, down to 2.2 on lap nine. Coenen all over Everts for the lead and McLellan also getting close to those two.
Everts blocking any passes by Coenen and now McLellan all over Coenen for second place. Farres also joins the party, with four riders now fighting for the top spot, both in the race and on the podium.
Everts got away from Coenen with a 1.5 second lead, then 2.3 a lap later. Top ten on lap 13 was Everts, Coenen, McLellan, Farres, Lata, Janis Reisulis, Karlis Reisulis, Langenfelder, Smulders and Karssemakers. McLellan worked his way past Coenen for second place, now two seconds behind Everts.
Farres also moved past Coenen and the top ten on lap 15 was Everts, McLellan, Farres, Coenen, Karlis Reisulis, Langenfelder, Janis Reisulis, Lata, Smulders and Karssemakers. McLellan all over the back wheel of Everts for the race win and a 1-1 performance. Everts wins the moto and McLellan the GP.
