Cairoli in for USA Trip
Grand Prix legend, Antonio Cairoli, riding a Ducati factory machine will race the next rounds of the AMA Nationals in USA. The Italian, who is a nine time world motocross champion will take on Redbud on July 4, the sand of Southwick a week later and then a week after Southwick, he will race the Spring Creek event.
Of course, Cairoli has ridden in American on many occasions, for MXoN, GP rounds and AMA Nationals round and his performance will be interesting and maybe give us a better idea of how deep the 450 field is in USA.
Obviously, he won't be racing the top four, in the Lawrence brothers, Haiden Deegan or Jorge Prado, but don't be surprised if this 40 year old, who just doesn't seem to age and he might have something for the likes of Aaron Plessinger or R. J. Hampshire.
The Coenen brothers will also be racing the Southwick round, which will make for a great round for the European public to watch, as the two 19 year olds battle the 40 year old.
