Having just watched the MXGP of Great Britain last weekend and seeing the huge involvement of the British public, I think everyone is now looking towards Birmingham and the British GP round of the World Supercross Championship, on October 10.

It isn’t often the British public get to witness Max Anstie race, the two time world supercross champion, who went 1-1 at the 2017 MXoN at Matterley Basin and without doubt one of the most popular riders in England and his involvement in the 2026 WSX championship is a high point.

But don’t forget, HRC factory rider, Tom Vialle, a two time AMA 250 supercross champion will take on three time AMA supercross champion, Cooper Webb and WSX champion, Jason Anderson in the Birmingham event. Vialle has been special this year in the MXGP championship, already with a GP victory and no doubt, he will be waiting for Anderson, when the meet at Birmingham

Webb has conquered some of the toughest Supercross races on the planet, claimed championships and built a reputation as one of the sport's fiercest competitors. Yet as he prepares for the 2026 FIM World Supercross Championship, the American star admits he's as excited about what happens off the track as he is on it. New countries. New circuits. New fans. And yes, another chance to enjoy Britain's famous dish!

“I’m excited,” Webb said, as we discuss the upcoming season. “This is a whole new challenge for me. It’s a new series that I haven’t done yet and it’s a new partnership with Rick Ware Racing. We’re both North Carolina guys, we only live a couple of miles away from each other, so it’s going to be a great experience. I’m really looking forward to it. It was cool to go over there,” he said. “We got to spend a few days in London before we raced, do some sightseeing and then head over to Matterley. The weather was a little rainy, but overall it was really good.”
